Pediatrics - AtlantaPediatrics - Atlanta, very desirable area: 4 1/2 day work week. Excellent starting salary! Choose between partnership or employed.
Stable, busy Pediatrics office in Atlanta area.
Seeking BE or BC Pediatrician.
Get to know your patients on a one on one basis while working in a pleasant and fun environment.
Traditional practice, mostly outpatient work.
Practice established 13 years.
Fully staffed office. Medical Assistants. Office/Insurance staff.
Average patient load: Approximately 20 to 30 patients a day.
Work out of one office and one hospital. Typical office hours: M-F, 9am - 5pm during the week day and Saturday 10am - 1pm only when physician is on sick call.
When all patients have been seen, you can leave the office.
Hospital has level III neonatal unit.
Very light, shared call. If you are on call Saturday & Sunday, you are off on Tuesday.
Work 4 1/2 days per week.
Rarely get phone calls on weekend. Only time you go to hospital on weekends is if you have patients there. There are very few patients in hospital at any given time.
Nurse triage line takes all initial phone calls during off hours. Nurse answers call and helps parents with sick patient, then decides if physician needs to be contacted.
No High-Risk Deliveries, no C-Sections. Payor mix - majority private pay.
Excellent starting salary for a PEDs in a new position. Negotiable depending upon experience.
Choose between partnership or employment.
Benefits include: 4 weeks paid vacation; paid licenses fees, and dues; paid health insurance for candidate (can add family.)
